Early light plus iPhone camera results in a pretty crap picture, but it’s bone stock and looks like it could be a couple years old. I have no idea when I last saw an 80s XJ with stock steelies, also 4x4, and not owned by someone who’s going to immediately lift it and cut the fenders and paint it camo.

It’s beautiful. Now if I found one just like this, but a manual two door, that would be the holy grail

Lift it, cut the fenders, and paint it camo.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Oh wow, a clean miata! I had better buy it, put it on cheap lowering springs, grenade the engine, and replace the seats with ones from pepboys.

That one? I’d keep it stock, because it’s probably the only one left around here. A newer one I would maybe do overland things to it, but I wouldn’t paint it with bedliner or camo or cut the fenders with a sawzall like most of the off-road guys do here
